When you are ready to get started, we’ll schedule your first session.
Your First Session:
When you come in for your first session you will be asked about your health history, any big life events or transitions, accidents and traumas.
After discussing your past and present you will be asked to dress down to your session attire. Clothing will be worn throughout the whole session; clients typically wear their underwear although men can wear shorts and women can wear shorts and sports bra.
You will then be asked to stand, walk and possibly perform other movement tests. Once the observations have been made you will lie on the treatment table for the hands-on work.
The hands-on portion of the session lasts 40-50 minutes.
Session strategy is formed by what you state as your history and experience, as well as what Jason sees and feels in your body. At times during your session you may be asked to get up off the table to experience changes that have taken place.
At the close of the session you will be asked to stand and walk to observe shifts in alignment and perception. Typically you are given homework, or things to do and pay attention to, until next session.
Second and Follow-up Sessions:
When you return for more work you will be asked about what you have experienced directly following and since your last visit. Clients gain more from the work when they embody the changes and experiences of their session. Again you will be observed in standing and walking positions before the table work begins.
